The D-F-L endorsed candidate for Governor in Minnesota, Margaret Anderson Kelliher, announced a senior agenda that includes capping property taxes at the rate of inflation for those over 65 years old. Kelliher made the proposal at the Rainbow Senior Center in Duluth yesterday. She was joined by former vice president Walter Mondale, Duluth mayor Don Ness and area legislators Mary Murphy, Tom Huntley and Roger Reinert. The Chair of the D-F-L Senior Caucus, Don Bye, was also at the event to announce the group's endorsement of Kelliher for Governor. Anderson-Kelliher faces Mark Dayton and Matt Entenza in the August 10th primary election.
